My name is Bruno and I am the co-founder of Word of Mouth Translations. I am also the one who will work on your translation or interpreting requests from English and French into Italian.

I moved to the UK in 2009 after nearly 3 years’ experience as an in-house translator and editor at an Italian software and multimedia company. With a Master’s degree in Conference Interpreting and Translation Studies under my belt, I quickly decided to pursue my original goal of becoming a translator and interpreter, and set myself up as a freelancer. Along the way, I also had the opportunity to work as a Project Manager for a London-based marketing implementation agency, which allowed me to acquire a better understanding of the translation workflow from the client’s perspective on the other side of the fence.

In addition to providing professional conference interpreting services, I am also skilled in marketing and creative translation, and can tailor my writing to match your tone of voice. So if you’re looking for an Italian translator who can give your copy the pizzazz it needs, then get in touch – pronto!

I’m Lee, and I helped establish Word of Mouth Translations in 2014 after freelancing solo for five years. My role is to translate documents from French and Simplified/Traditional Chinese into English.

After graduating with my Master’s from the University of Leeds in 2009, I stayed up north for a year working at an immigration charity as a senior advisor for the local Chinese-speaking community. I then took the leap and moved to London to work as a full-time in-house linguist in the civil service, a position I held for 4 years and which gave me an enormous amount of translation and interpreting experience.

The areas of expertise I now focus on are medical, technical and gaming, which all present their own interesting challenges and ensure no working week looks the same. I have a wealth of loyal and satisfied clients, a strong work ethic, and a friendly approach to business relations. I look forward to working with you!
